Library Book Checkout Policy:
To checkout a book, students should have a valid student ID number and keep their account in
good standing, with 
no overdue books or fines (including from other schools in AISD).

​​Books check out for 2 weeks.
Graphic Novels check out for 1 week.
Students may renew their materials to extend their due date.
Students must pay for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
​(Fees vary according to item value and age.)
When browsing in the library, please keep the shelves tidy. Keep books in order or place them flat on their back to be reshelved.

We have several sections in our library to meet your academic needs and appeal to your personal interests:
Fiction Genres (organized alphabetically by author's last name within each genre section) 
   
Realistic, SciFi, Horror, Mystery, Suspense, Action, Sports, Historical, Romance & Relationships, Fantasy
Nonfiction (organized by Dewey subject call numbers)
Biographies & Memoirs (organized alphabetically by the name of the subject (person the book is about))
Books in Spanish, Latin, Chinese, & French (fiction & nonfiction)
Reference Works (shelved within nonfiction, most are available for checkout, very few are in-library use only)
Graphic Novels & Manga 
   Biographical Graphic Novels, Graphic Adaptations of Literature, (Standard) Graphic Novels, Comic Strips, Comic Books, Manga
Poetry
Drama
Short Story Collections
