NOTE: Austin High began the Everyone:1 initiative a few years ago with Dell Chromebooks, but as AISD purchases additional units, we are receiving models from other makers, such as Lenovo and Samsung. Some of our troubleshooting guidelines are specific to Dell devices, but we will be providing support for other devices as we determine what models our students are receiving. Tips and guidelines provided here are to support your understanding of how to handle and troubleshoot your Dell Chromebook. If you are experiencing a problem and need additional help, you can always submit a request to the AISD Help Desk by completing their Student Technology Issue form.

You can contact your librarian sara.stewart@austinisd.org to request help. Austin High can provide a replacement charger, guidance on troubleshooting, curbside service (Fall dates TBD) for repair and powerwashing. Also see other support provided on this page. If you can't find the help you need, you can submit a Student Technology Issue form to the district and an AISD Help Desk staff member will process your request.

PASSWORD ISSUES
If you have customized your password and forgotten it, have a parent email your librarian, sara.stewart@austinisd.org, to request a password reset. Your password will be reset to your default and emailed back to the parent email address(es) listed in your student record.
You can customize your password by logging into the Portal and clicking on your name in the top right of the red banner. Select "Change Password" from the drop-down menu. You may be prompted to update your password and/or your security questions on a yearly basis.
